Gryphon Appointed by NXET to support DOO(P) Upgrade

Gryphon Management have been appointed by National Express Essex Thameside (NXET) to lead the upgrade and extension of their existing  Driver Only Operations (Passenger) system across the 25 Essex Thameside franchised stations.

Gryphon Management have been appointed by National Express to lead the upgrade and extension of the Driver Only Operations (Passenger) system across their 25 Essex Thameside franchised stations. The upgrade and extension works is planned to be completed by early 2016 with all mainline NXET stations being upgraded by mid December 15 in readiness for the new timetable.

The extended DOO(P) system will enable National Express to operate more frequent 12 car services across their network. The Gryphon Management team have been working closely with National Express since January 2015 in developing this complex upgrade and extension to their existing DOO(P) infrastructure. The team have co-ordinated and managed all technical aspects of the GRIP 4 and 5 design work across 25 stations and provided technical and commercial services to the wider NXET business.

A key specialisation of the Gryphon Management team is to successfully develop upgrade solutions that incorporate much of the existing infrastructure that remains fit-for-purpose whilst implementing wholesale changes to the original systems. For further information contact [email protected]
